(You got it boss!) The cold winds whipped around Neku as he made his way up Cat Street with Joshua. With finals coming up, getting the time to visit WildKat Café wasn't easy between study sessions with Shiki who was silently stressing out, Eri who was openly panicking, Beat who was unfoundedly optimistic, and Rhyme who was picking up on pretty much everything easily. Neku had taken some extra time with all of them, helping and getting helped in return just to make the time for him and Joshua to go into Shibuya at all. "Ah, Cat Street." Joshua said. "Kind of nostalgic isn't it Neku?" Neku gave out a sigh, exhaling a cold misty breath. Pulling his purple scarf up over his mouth, he moved towards Hanekoma's café. Neku was a bit hesitant to approach it considering the circumstances. With what Neku knew about Hanekoma, he didn't feel comfortable bringing up what happened in the game with him. (Despite everything that happened, and what happened after…I still have no clue where Hanekoma

(Wow. You’re, like, stronger than I thought.) Neku stood across the tables, staring down Hayai who just gave him a wave and smile. All he could focus on was her almost unconcerned attitude she had towards this game. (What am I talking about? She’s completely unconcerned.) It was almost as though this was just something fun to do and had no bigger meaning. (I’d expect that kind of mentality actually. But Yammer and Shooter usually take this stuff pretty seriously, and it shows in how they manage to be pretty tough. Her attitude is so contradictory to them it’s a bit off putting.” “Youready?” Hayai asked, snapping Neku out of his thoughts. “Yeah. Ready anytime.” “Sweet! (SLAM, ON!) Neku just stared at the Tipsy Toes Hall building, feeling the eyes of his friends on him. It made him a bit anxious and embarrassed. (Should have known what the event was when they mentioned the location.) “So Neku-” Joshua started, instantly aggravating him. “-seems like your kind of event, wouldn’t you say?” (A handful of times…most not by choice…and yet this is the land I will live in forever.) “AW YEAH MAN!” Beat cheered. “I didn’t even know a Tin-Pin Slammer tournament was happening today yo!” Neku turned to their informant, Nina, with a small glare. “Did you?” “N-N-N-No! I just heard about an event! I figured it was a book signing, o-or maybe one of the Prince’s sponsored events.” “You don’t visit Shibuya very often do you?” Eri asked and Nina whimpered slightly. “Well I’d say this was a very serendipitous turn of events.” Joshua said. “What’s more fun than

(Gotta put our head together, you feel me?) Beat grinded down the railing on his board, taking off at the end with a kickflip trick before landing on the pavement of the Udagawa backstreets and finishing with a No Comply before stopping. Eri and Nina clapped in admiration as Shiki and Rhyme followed up in support. Neku just looked at Beat with a dead-panned expression as Joshua sat lazily on the stairway checking his phone. “That was amazing!” Eri yelled. “How did you do that!?” Beat rubbed his nose with a smug grin as he slammed his foot down on the back end of his board, sending it flying up so he could sweep it under his arm. “Pretty sick right? This board is my bread and butler!” “Try again.” Neku said and Beat thought for a moment. “Bed and Butler.” (Not right, but somehow better.) “Just wondering Daisukenojo-” Joshua started. “Did you drag us all here just to show off your skateboarding? Seems very childish is so.” “Don’t use my name pretty boy! It’s Beat.” Joshua gave

(Vexatious worm!) Neku dove to the right as the massive man swung his fists in an attempt to smash him to dust. Konishi stayed frozen in her spot as the man moved past her and after Neku. Neku reached into his pocket, glad to find his Player pin there but shocked to find his Planet Pins missing and a small hole in its place. (No!) “Stand still!” The monster yelled swinging his fists down onto the floor of the school. The floor shook violently, making Neku and Konishi stumble and fall. Neku rolled back onto his feet as the man rushed at him like a bull. (I can’t keep dodging forever. But in this space, even if I had my pins, I’d be outmatched.) Neku dodged the oncoming hit before rushing for Konishi to help her up. “What is happening boy?” Konishi asked sounding more annoyed than worried. “I’ll explain later. For now, I need to know if you have any pins on you.” Neku asked. “Of course not. I am not a child or a player.” (Damn…hang on.) “Is it safe to say you’ve confiscated pins?”

(Riiiiight, I’ll remember it next time.) Hanekoma sat at the front counter to his shop, lazily stirring his coffee with a spoon as he looked over the intelligence report Joshua had handed him earlier that week. It detailed their run in with the fallen angel Kabe Sobi-Sha. Hanekoma gave a worn sigh as he leaned back in his seat. “Fallen Angels…man, I was hoping to avoid this much heat. Those kids really attract the worst kind of attention.” Hanekoma was brought out of his thoughts as a bell rang, indicating someone had opened the door to his shop. From the doorway stood a man large enough to completely take up the door frame. He wore a large black coat that did nothing to hide the booming muscles that threatened to tear his coat and green shirt apart. He stomped in with his combat boots and sat down at the counter, sitting up straight and still towering over Hanekoma. His eyes were a piercing yellow that stood out from his darkened skin. Even with his intimidating figure, Hanekoma

(You was hidin’ in my shadow!?) Neku and Shiki were unsure of how to respond to the information Joshua had given them. Joshua just stood there waiting for some kind of reply. (A thousand angels!? How much of the world is stuck in the Reaper Hierarchy…and more importantly, how much is looking to strangle our world under its thumb?) “A thousand?” Shiki replied in shock. “Well in the thousands.” Joshua corrected. “Even I don’t know the exact number. But given the scope and power that would be needed I can only estimate at the number.” “And I’m guessing that number is on the low end.” Neku guessed. Joshua nodded. “So how do we fight back?” Shiki asked and Joshua smirked. “Like most resistances do. By staying low and making our move when we need to.” “You mean when YOU need us to.” Neku corrected and Joshua sighed. “Unless you’d like to be the one sticking your neck out to keep tabs on these world enders then yes.” (Guess he’s been keeping an eye on them for a while.) “Just don’t sacrifice

I have been struggling to get back into writing the continuation of The World Ends With You And Your Choices but I ran into two very big problems in my time with this.
1: My investment in the story had been off and on for a while. Either I didn't like how I wrote out the character interaction or I found certain plot points to be a less than they could be. It's very hard to get back into it when you're not sure how comfortable with how the previous chapters were presented.
2: My knowledge of the game is not a strong as it was a few years ago. Makes it very hard to bring the proper information together to make things clear and concise in both t
For the past two years I've been working on a game using RPG FES for the 3DS and after two set backs and a longer than I would have preferred hiatus I finally finished it!
It's called Reality Chronicles and the product ID is 6gw34dar. If your up for checking it out than I would very much appreciate that. Apparently even if you don't have the game you can download a player from the 3DS E-shop. I hope you enjoy it if you play it.
